I have done that already.
I think they people there go above and beyond and help in any way possible. I would recommend to anyone, because of the care that my father received while he was there. He was put on hospice and even during the pandemic they allowed us to see him while keeping everyone safe. They do an excellent job getting everyone involved and making friends. My dad was very happy while he was there and I wouldn't have wanted him to be anywhere else his last few months. I always heard great things about the food and how much of a variety they had. I do not think there is a better facility around.
My positive experience over the last several years.
The main thing that I have been pleased with is the medication management. My friends health has definitely improved due the medication management there.
I would recommend the Phoenix because they have a great group of staff who really care about the residents. My mother is very happy and never complains about anything. They bathe them properly and give them everything they need to start the day. I can tell that my mom is getting along with the workers and they make her smile. I have been into the facility a few times and every time I go it’s looked beautiful and my moms room is clean.
They care about their residents. I love how they take care of me and my dad during this process, and how they accepted him into the community.
It is a pretty decent place for a person to spend their last days.
I would say that we have been very pleased with everybody we have been in contact with. The way we found them is through a service called the place for mom, and they highly recommended that as their number one choice. We agree with them.
I already have. I just tell them the good experience I had and that my brother likes it.
I would recommend. It's the first place my mom has been to, and I think they're doing the best they can with what they can.
It is not bad from what I can tell so far. I have not been able to go in, so I cannot say much. The back staff has lack of communication. You want them to treat your loved ones how they would want you to treat their loved ones. Would you send your dad out in the cold looking like that?
It had been a great experience. The on boarding experience is relatively painless, and everything is transparent. I never feel like something is going on without knowing.
The staff at The Phoenix at Dunwoody is very good, it is clean, and they have been very responsive. I have been very satisfied. My mother has had to go to the hospital sometimes, and she always comes back 100% better. The care that she has received has helped her so they are good at diagnosing change which I am extremely happy with. She is 88 1/2. She has no complaints. She has been through a lot, but she is content given her circumstance.
I would say overall I am satisfied at least when I shopped around a few years back they were extremely reasonably with pricing.
I would recommend to anyone I know. They do a great job with the residents and keeping up with their standards. They have a great building in a fantastic location. I am very happy my Mom is at The Phoenix. I enjoy talking to all of the staff and creating a relationship with them.
I would recommend them because I think they really care about their residents. I do not think they have enough staff to be able to take care of their residents. I think if they hired more people they would be able to do their job better and focus on things that need to be done. Overall the facility is beautiful and has a lot to offer. The Management team is great and makes sure to have lots of contact with the families.
I think it a great place for the elderly to live and they all are very well taken care of. It is so beautiful as well.
I think that my Mom has not been there long enough for me to give enough reasoning to why I would recommend but we have had no issues so far. The fact that my Mom moved into the facility during a pandemic and loves it really shows you how great it is. The staff are all so welcoming and nice to my Mom. I would not want her to be anywhere else during these times.
If it is in a good location and you can afford private care, I would recommend The Phoenix at Dunwoody. I don't think there is any place I would put a loved one without private care.
The Phoenix at Dunwoody is bright and cheerful. They usually have music playing in there, we can sit outside, and I have gotten to know some of the residents and they seem pretty happy. The workers also seem happy and helpful as well. It is lively, and overall a good place.
I would recommend because I think it is a great value. The location is great and easy to get in and out of. The atmosphere in the building is great. The management is trying to connect to the highest degree possible to keep families connected and in the loop about what is going on. They have been very sensitive to the families because of how hard things have been. They are going above and beyond their job daily. Another thing is they are very generous to the residents when it comes to food. It is better than most facilities when it comes to food.
They offer a great level of care.
We are thrilled with them. They have ensured that my dad still has his dignity. They are very communicative and responsive to my questions.
The director at The Phoenix at Dunwoody is the best one that I have met, and he sets the tone for the whole place.
I would recommend, I just think they have a few things that they need to work on before I am completely sold.
I think the level of care is very good, and I am familiar with other facilities prior to choosing Phoenix, and I think they are definitely scoring better than the rest from what I can see.
I would recommend The Phoenix at Dunwoody to others. I would tell them about the change in my friend's health since moving there. Before the pandemic hit, I felt like I knew what was going on, and I was completely comfortable with what was going on. I was in and out at least once or twice a week. I feel like he is well cared for there. It is not the most exciting place to live and he is more cognitively aware now with the new medication management which is hard because he would probably like to have more going on. Like I said, he chooses not to participate in the activities, so that is on him.
Based on what I know, I would recommend without any troubles. The staff is open and willing to help, and they are cooperative. Nick and his team are responsive. It is a very convenient location due to major highways. The facility also looks very nice and fits in with the general community. Everything I have seen looks good, clean, and inviting.
It is good because it is small. The residents are able to receive good care by friendly staff.
The caretakers seem to really care, the staff is always ready to assist and willing to take the extra step to keep the residents smiling and happy, and it's a very nice facility. The rooms are nice and they do a great job of keeping everybody and everything clean.
I would recommend it in general, but not necessarily in memory care because they are currently full.

I would because they Executive Director is on to of things and seems to plan really enjoyable activities for the residents and the families. If I have a concern its addressed properly and quickly. Its really clean and the facility is beautiful. You would hardly know that its a senior care facility which makes it more inviting.
I liked the transfer process with my father. They made it seem less stressful and they were able to communicate with me.
Yes i would defiantly recommend. The staff is amazing and they are very friendly. I can communicate with them all week and they seem to really care about her well being. They keep me very informed about my moms condition when its needed. I thought about moving her but I don't think I could like a place as much as i like the Phoenix.
They take very good care of each individual patient. The administration has been fantastic.
For independent living no but assisted living yes I would be willing to recommend from the care prospective. Isaac gets a 5! He's always been so great. Marja has been great as well.
The facility is not super large, so the people that stay there are on a first name basis. The staff seems to be very caring and it is a personalized service.
The building itself is very nice, clean, and welcoming. The rooms are very nice, and the services are all there. Anything that you could want in terms of services are there.
Their alarm system that gets care to us quickly needs improvement.
It's conveniently located, they work with the families a lot, they listen to all the feedback I've given them and corrected any issues I've had.
I would definitely recommend The Phoenix at Dunwoody to others. The staff is very caring, attentive, and they definitely try to make families and the residents feel welcomed. They let the families know that their loved one is being cared for.
It's a very bright community. The staff is attentive. The management is very responsive and open to feedback, and they really take action on the feedback I give them.
I looked at 9 different communities, and I really liked The Phoenix. I like that the wellness director is right there on the floor with the memory care patients. I like how they communicate with us via text and email. It's a great and updated facility. I like it a lot, I'm very happy overall.
The staff is very friendly and professional, the facility is kept clean, and they have excellent communication.
I have recommended The Phoenix at Dunwoody already. It is very personal, they treat the residents like they are family, and it is great.
N/A
It's only appropriate to certain demographics of people. It has its own personality and its own place in the world of assisted livings and it's not for everyone.

Overall, there are very loving care givers, consistent care, I feel that she is safe, and they have great communication. The price is reasonable, but they are about to have their head nurse Issac leave, and the verdict is out that we might not be receiving the same level of care.
This is the best environment I've seen for my mother.
The Phoenix at Dunwoody is a nice size that is small enough to fit a family, and all of the staff takes really good care of the people there as well as the families.
the things I've named, like cleaning his room and taking the resident's out. If they could straighten those out, everything would be good.
The community is nice and bright. The staff seems to be friendly and I get really good responses if I have concerns and I go to Isaac or Nick. I feel like I have a good working relationship with the staff, and anywhere you have a loved one living, you have to be involved. They give a good partnership to me.
I feel like the caretakers do care, and the medical staff stays on top of things.
Compared to other communities, I think they are reasonable in terms of costs and services. When we looked around a few years ago, The Phoenix was the best match for her and our needs.
The floor staff seem like they really care about my mom and are always doing their best to make her feel good.
The care that she has gotten and the communication we've had with the staff.
The staff is very caring and the community itself is newly renovated and very clean. The care provided is very personalized and I definitely recommend it.
I think The Phoenix is great and has great staff, so depending on the person I would, but I don't think The Phoenix would be right for everyone.
Just the improvements I stated earlier. The care and service provided are great for the value.
Some of the people that I know would try independent living first. I have met some people that really need this, but they make another choice.
The location is great, the environment is great, and there is a good value for the money. The management is trying hard to create a top notch facility.
The community is great in every respect. There are limitations in what they can do medically, but we are very satisfied.
The community is very clean, it has very nice decor, it has staff that appear to be in the mix and caring, Isaac is there to text as needed, it smells good (and that was a big thing I was told to look for), the staff is all very very friendly and it seems very genuine. When I am there they talk and interact with the residents, so if they do that when I am not there I will be very pleased.
The community has great care. I have already recommended the facility to others.
I live in Tennessee, so of course my friends are not likely to go out of state to Dunwoody, but given the opportunity in the greater Atlanta community I would for sure recommend The Phoenix at Dunwoody. There is always room for improvement at any institution, which is why I rated it a 4.
I don't think they provide enough activities and stimulation for the residents. I also think the staff should make more of an effort to interact with the residents family members.
The quality of the care and attention they pay to detail amazed me. They meet every need and overall just did a great job making the residents feel like family.
The Phoenix at Dunwoody is a wonderful place. It might not be for everybody, but I like the small size of the community.
Every person I know that needs an assisted living community, I recommend The Phoenix at Dunwoody. My mother's been there going on 3 years and I'm very pleased with the care that she gets there. The staff and management are very courteous and keep you updated on everything going on. They've redone the community and it looks like a five star hotel. If they keep improving, I'm gonna sell my house and move into a room!
The quality of the caregivers is astonishing to me. They're hands-on, loving, and caring. They always have a smile on their face and know everyone on a first name basis. I would recommend The Phoenix at Dunwoody to friends and family.
The Phoenix at Dunwoody is a nice community and my mom as really enjoyed being there and she is very comfortable. I know they do a good job of caring for her.
The Phoenix at Dunwoody may not be the fanciest community in the area, but they truly care for their residents as if they were their own family and for that I am truly grateful.
They do a good job taking care of the residents. I'd recommend The Phoenix at Dunwoody to friends and family.
I'm likely to recommend the assisted living side of The Phoenix at Dunwoody.
Overall, we're very happy with The Phoenix at Dunwoody. I like that it's a smaller community than others and the staff is all caring people. You can tell that it's not just a job to them and that's important to me. I would definitely recommend The Phoenix.
I would recommend The Phoenix at Dunwoody to friends and family because of the attention that my mother receives from the staff.
I would recommend The Phoenix at Dunwoody because of the level of care my mother receives there.
Overall I think they have met expectations and they are a reasonable community. My perception of cost is that they are pretty good in terms of price performance.
I do think the Phoenix at Dunwoody tries hard to address things and make it as pleasant of an experience as they can.
I have been exceedingly impressed with the socialization opportunities they provide at the Phoenix at Dunwoody. The staff that are responsible for interacting with the residents during those activities genuinely care about the residents and want to be there and that is a true gift.
The Phoenix is wonderful with my mother. They treat her like they really do care about her. The food is good too! We feel very fortunate that my mother ended up there.
It's a great place to have your parents. You wouldn't have to worry at all. They're very much cared for and treat them with dignity.
It's conveniently located, and they are responsive to your concerns. They do have a few short-comings as all places do. The best thing you can do is check-in on your loved one to make sure they are receiving the care you want for them.
They take very good care of me!
I would recommend them mainly because of Pam and Tamera. The people there are very responsive and I appreciate that.
If the cleaning and things were better I would have no issue recommending them at all.
Do not go here.
I probably wouldn't recommend them because I feel like sometimes the people in charge do not interact with the family members at all. I think they interact with some families more than other, because I have noticed it myself.
They have a great staff, and they're reasonably priced. It is a good place overall.
Everybody is kind, and they're good to my aunt. I have actually already recommended people.
I would recommend The Phoenix at Dunwoody because they genuinely care for their residents.
The Phoenix at Dunwoody is improving, but they still need a more thorough cleaning in the community. We've heard that they'll be renovating for two years and we're wondering when it will actually happen.
I'm there every other day, at different times of the day, and every one on staff at Phoenix treats the residents with respect. I've already recommended The Phoenix at Dunwoody to others. Everything is outstanding: the staff, the community, even the higher ups. The minute you go in the door, you are treated like gold.
I like that it's a small community. My mom's been there over 5 years and they've always had a good staff. They know our names, we're not just numbers. I would definitely recommend The Phoenix at Dunwoody.
Even though The Phoenix at Dunwoody is a smaller community, it offers the same services of a larger community, and meets my mother's needs better than anywhere else. The staff is knowledgable.
The Phoenix at Dunwoody is a good value. My parents receive good care and management has always been willing to work with us.
This is the first time my aunt has been happy with a community. The quality of care that is provided to not only her but to me is exceptional.
I would say that it is a facility that is appropriate for someone who isn't looking for an upscale place. It has a more casual environment.
I would absolutely recommend it if they take care of the cleaning issue. I love the people that work there.
I would say that its a friendly, nice place that takes care of people really well.
The care is phenomenal, so you just have to get past the appearance. Once you meet the staff, they override everything else, or any other problem you see. The staff is exactly what they said they would be, and they really love these people. Honestly, I've never walked in and saw anything that made me unhappy. Overall, the staff are really the selling point, and they're always on it.
They are very welcoming and compassionate people. I see that they genuinely care about my husband's well-being. They are open to suggestions and understanding about things that need to be done. The aids that take care of my husband go beyond what they would normally do to make sure my husband is taken care of.
They have great staff and take great care of my dad. I feel comfortable having him there.
I think everything is based on communication and keeping the families abreast of what is happening to their loved ones and ways that things they could share to benefit the family members. The staff would have to know the residents, and I don't think that they know them.
I love the way that the staff at the Phoenix at Dunwoody cares for my dad. His health improved in the beginning months when he moved in, and the Phoenix has maintained his level of health despite his health issues.
My experiences have been great.
They take good care of everybody, and they treat them like family.
The staff is really nice and pleasant to talk to. The last place my loved one was at, I cringed to talk to people, and I didn't want him there. At The Phoenix and Dunwoody, they're just so considerate. For the most part, they treat my loved one so well, like a family member of their own.
Compared to others, particularly for memory care unit, the care is very good. For me, it is also very accessible since I live in the Dunwoody area.
Compared to what used to be there, the changes are huge. They care about the residents and families, they are proactive, and when I walk in there I don't see cases of neglect - this refers to a number of things: the residents, cleanliness, etc.
I would definitely do that! It's not a real big place so everybody knows everybody by name and it is clean with a nice location. It's been my experience that you are more than just a number there.
I have done that! I am there enough to know what goes on and how Inez is taken care of. They are very pleasant.
I already have! I think they care about the residents and they have a staff that's caring and makes sure that they are trying really hard to meet the resident's needs.
I have, it's just that most everyone has their preferred places. I am more content here than I was but they definitely need more staff all over, especially with the late night staff and the weekends. A deep clean and carpet replacement would also help the facility - it's just worn. Overall, a stronger management presence later in the weekends would be nice as well. It's hard that the Executive Director is split between three places - his presence changes the attitude of the facility and although they has improved, I see old habits creeping back in with him not being there as much.
Other than the things I've already mentioned, I cannot think of any other improvements.
The facility is well run, the management team and staff care about the residents and try to solve problems that occur, it is a good value for your money, and the residents receive good care. I never go in and see someone being neglected or looking dirty.
I will hands-down recommend them to anyone I know.
i think they do a great job in terms of friendliness and they are very personal - that's the main thing. They are friendly to my aunt and she feels engaged and talked to because of it.
I would tell a friend that the caretakers are just great. The community is very nice and everyone tries to make sure the residents are comfortable. My mom is very clean and has no odor about her. We are very happy with the community and she's in a good place.
The Phoenix at Dunwoody does a great job especially since taking care of the elderly is not an easy job to do.
The Phoenix at Dunwoody is a very caring intimate community that provides a good value for the services that they provide.
I had a situation where I had to find a place for my dad in like 24 hours and they worked with me to get him in as quickly as possible. They have been accommodating more than what I expected and I just really appreciate all they have done for us at the Phoenix at Dunwoody.
The Phoenix at Dunwoody have did such a great job caring for my father. They truly are doing everything they should be doing and going above and beyond to care for their residents.
The staff at Phoenix at Dunwoody seem to really care about the residents and it is a small enough environment that they seem to be able to get to know the residents and their families on a personal level and I appreciate them taking the time to do that.
I think the staff at the Phoenix at Dunwoody truly care about the residents and will do what they can to help and accommodate the residents and their families.
Overall I do think Phoenix at Dunwoody is one of the better places and I have said that to other people. Overall the community is clean and the care staff take good care of him.
The Phoenix at Dunwoody has an open and bright atmosphere. The staff are attentive, the care is good and it is a nice pleasant community. The staff are also amazingly patient and it takes a special kind of person to be able to do their job.
The Phoenix at Dunwoody has a caring environment, the staff are helpful and they always want to make sure you are satisfied with the job they are performing.
The Phoenix at Dunwoody has very friendly staff, the environment is great and they take great care of all of the residents.
The staff is great and anytime I have ever had a problem I can talk to them about it and it gets resolved in a timely manner. And Clayton has done things above and beyond what's expected, for example my mom needed a new wheelchair, so he took it upon himself to contact a friend and get her a new one. All and all the staff are very helpful, especially Karen, the Wellness Director.
The level of care at The Phoenix at Dunwoody is a 100% improvement over what it used to be. The staff is great and the company itself seems to really care about their residents.
From what we have seen so far the staff are responsive and caring and it is a great place that serves my mothers needs.
